Our half lab half border collie 12 year old puppy dogMy wife busted her on the couch today... you can see she got in a lot of trouble heh... My wife rescued her about 10 years ago. She is our baby and is excited to meet her new baby brother chocolate pure breed lab in 8 weeks. (yep - he was born sunday! so excited).
Anyhow, just thought I would share. (and she is overweight by about 7 to 10 lbs, but the pic looks much worse. its really just her long winter coat). Thanks to the advise here, she is in the process of switching over to TOTW and more excercise to trim it down a bit.

She is adorable. I love her hairy feet, and such a sweet face. I don't get the couch thing. At our house as long as they are comfortable....lol
She will lose the extra weight trying to keep up with her baby brother.
Cute! The only problem that I see is that she's doin' it wrong. Her head should be the other way to take advantage of the pillow.
Congrats on the new puppy, I'm a little partial to chocolates myself.

Pretty dog! Our last dog was overweight as she got older. She was 12 when we lost her. She was a "human food-moocher" and we were often weak! I think that might be why she was a little over weight.

She needs to put her head on the pillow. She looks pretty comfy. She is a cutie. Congrats on the new puppy. Your older girl will lose some weight playing with the new puppy.
