But thinks he can get away with stuff - like get an extra biscuit in the mornings. He gets one as I leave and the past two mornings, the first since Fanny left us, he has stood by the treat jar just looking at it. I guess he figures there is one extra and he should have it. No harm in trying...
He and JJ aren't as playful as they usually are and JJ spends a lot of time looking for her. On sunday Sasha, SD's GSD, spent half an hour touring the house wondering where she was. Kept coming over to me with a look on her face - where is she?
Eddie spends time curled up at the end of the couch in the evenings and then sleeps with us. Not something he did a lot of. The changes are slowly coming and not all of them are welcome. Time will heal.

Heart breaking ! It's so sad to see them upset !
My friend's pup Murphy is missing his partner too to the extent that he has started peeing in the house !

They have to mourn too... it just sucks.

Fanny would want Eddie to have her biscuit. It must be heartbreaking to see Sasha looking but you can't explain it to her.
That brings a tear to my eye. It's been over a year since my dogs' best buddy Ruger passed away, but everytime our friend comes over, they run to the truck looking for him and waiting for him to jump out. And when we go to his house they still look for him. They just don't understand. It breaks my heart. Hugs to you and Eddie.
The changes ARE heart wrenching! Time... time... lots and lots of time... and then some more time...

I'm so sorry. They need to grieve also. Good thoughts for all of you as you get used to a new routine.
