I was making chicken salad and after I was done boiling the chicken, I let it cool down and fed it to Chuck. She loved it! Is there any danger to doing this every couple nights? All that was in the pot was water and chicken, no seasonings or additives (in fact, it was free range, natural chicken). She is on a raw food diet and eats mostly chicken quarters, so I figured this wouldn't be a bad treat.
The only problem may be if she gets too much fat it may cause soft or runny stools, also may make her fat. You can trim the fat from the chicken before boiling it.
Reminds me of the time I had a large pot of home made chicken soup filled to the brim cooling on the stove. A short time later, I found the pot only half full. Judy had managed to dring/eat half of it without moving the pot from the stove.
If you refrigerate the chicken stock, any fat will accumulate on the surface and you can just skim it off.

We give it to our dogs occasionally. The only thing it does bad is give Willy gas if he gets too much. We also let it cool and skim off the fat.
I am now using organic bottled chicken stock in all meals since Bailey is on chemotherapy and refuses to eat his dry food.
