I took Barney for his check up from his ear ordeal. He got a really good report. Just a little scabs on the ears and vet said put some of the Triotic ointment on it as long as he doesn't shake his head. So we are doing much better!
Excellent news!

Politicians and diapers should be changed frequently and all for the same reason.

Did the vet say why they shake their head in the first place. Is there something we should be looking for???

"Me and my boy"
Dr thinks he was bitten by some bug and had an allergic reaction. There isn't anything different with his food or treats. My guess is that on one of our times out in the tall grass behind the college where I work something out there bit him. It came up all the sudden. What was the red flag to me was he was constantly shaking his head which caused the hematomas in his ear lobes because he shook so hard. It was probably itching. Both Tal and Barney will shake their heads on occasion...its when it gets to be really frequent and hard we make a trip to the vet! The shaking was a symptom of the other stuff..once he got on prednisone, benadryl, and antibiotics, he started to improve because the itching stopped so he stopped shaking his head!
If you haven't noticed more frequent or harder shaking I'd bet you're ok!
Glad he is doing better![]()
