I would like to thank everyone for their prayers and well wishes for my daughter, Ashley. She is doing fairly well, awake, alert and oriented to time, people and PAIN. Obviously she is quite uncomfortable, to say the least. She does not have any serious brain trauma, thank God. She will be coming home to my house, we do not have any steps and it will be easy for someone to always be with her. The physical therapist will be coming to the house for the first few weeks to work with her. We are having a hospital bed delivered today and we are hoping she will be home tomorrow.
I believe in the power of prayer and good thoughts and I am so grateful for all of you that offered yours, surely they were answered. There are just not any words to express my gratitude, thank you seems so uninspired but for lack of anything better - thank you, from the bottom of my heart. You all are incredibly thoughtful and generous and I have found out first hand how wonderful this group of Lab lovers truly is.
