A very strange and wonderful thing happened on the way to obedience/rally class this morning. I'm not sure exactly what it was, but what I THINK happened, and the only explanation that I have for it, is that an alien spaceship hovered over the car, beamed Baxter's brain up and replaced it with a more mature, calmer, but still attentive brain. What a change in him! He was so much better behaved around all the other dogs, was able to "wait quietly", and performed so nicely - even the "stand for exam", and "long sits and downs". Of course the new brain still likes to chew on the leash when a little nervous or bored, but I can live with that. SO - it was either aliens, or a more long-shot would be the neutering in December and the normal maturing process. What do you think ?![]()
I don't know, Pat. But that is good. Keep it up, Baxter.
Way to go Baxter!

Of course it was aliens. That's the only logical explanation!
Now, can you send them down here to exchange Teddy's brain for a more mature one?
Does this boat make my butt look big?
I think Emilou had a talk with him..."Shape up or ship out"
I'd go with the Alien theory. It's the only one that makes sense. lol
I'm not quite sure what caused it, Pat, but, speaking from experience, enjoy it, but don't get too comfortable with the "new" Baxter. The "old" one is sure to pop back in once in awhile, and usually when you least expect it.
