Oh holy hell! I do NOT flipping believe this!
Remember my charming little story yesterday about Flynn and the dog food bag in the dryer? Cute, wasn't it. Try and try as he did, he could not get to that open bag of food in the dryer.
Washed a load of the dog rugs today, went to put them in said dryer. Oh holy hell! Ten pounds of dog food spilled into the dryer. He must have hit the "on" button in his efforts to release the food. Do you guys have any idea how hard it is to clean out oily dog kibble from a dryer that size? HOLY CHIT! It's in the lint trap... it's down inside the casing... it's everywhere! And the "crumbs" which are as find as sand? More like powder??? OH HOLY CHIT! It's in everything!
Spent an hour cleaning as much as I could. Lint trap wouldn't fit snug into its place, ergo, the door wouldn't close. Got a long handled ice tea spoon and began digging down in the front to get enough out to replace the trap properly. Got that done and threw the dog rugs in. Well! About every three minutes I could hear the out-of-sight kibble clattering and rattling all through the deep interior of the dryer. I think I am (or the dryer is) doomed.
GAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
The control panel... "on" buttons on far right. He reaches those easily! SLAM ON!
The "goods"...
See that powdery food residue? Oily... a bitch to get it wiped clean!
The bad boy himself. "Oh hey, mom! Lemme give ya a hand there!

OMG. He'd be in deep sh*t here. Maybe use vinegar then water to wipe it down? As for the noisy invisible kibble - you might need a repair guy out for that.
Sharon - still not a dude.
Sharon - I'm with you on the out-of-sight kibble. That has me concerned. Huge fire potential, I'm thinking.![]()

As Sharon said, that boy is deep in the brown stuff.....
I am sure that cleaning out the dryer was not on your weekend plans Nancy, I hope the rest of your weekend improves, along with young Master Flynns behaviour!

Oh boy....someone is in the "dog house."
Oh MY! That bad boy! I had to laugh though, and had to show the pictures to my husband! We had taken to hiding out cat food inside the bbq on our back deck. Sophie figured out how to open the plastic tops on the containers we were putting it in to keep her fro tearing into the bags! Do you have a hand held vaccum, like a Dirt DEvil? That might help. Our one with a hose you can cram down inside the vent trap? Can you open the dryer fro the top to work on it inside? Good luck! These Labbys are so smart, they can figure most anything out!
