Ellie is having a sleep-over!!

We have been considering getting another Lab, as mentioned in a previous post to which many of you responded. Well, we were at a local dog park the other day and a guy comes in with a Black Lab, turns her loose, goes back to his vehicle and comes in with another one. Turns that one loose, goes back to his vehicle and comes back with two more!!! Ellie and one of the Labs immediately hit it off and played together like they were life long pals! The guy with all the Labs is a Foster parent for a local Lab Rescue Group!! We start talking and Ellie's pal, Gypsie, is looking for a home. The next day they were all there again. Called the wife and had her come to the park.... Long story a little shorter, tomorrow Gypsie and her Foster Dad are following us home tomorrow for the home inspection required by the Rescue Group and to let Gypsie spent the night!! It will be interesting. Gypsie is 1 year old and somewhat small (probably about 45-50 pounds) but looks very sound and plays like crazy!

The wife went to the store today to pick up some special treats for the girls (she always is the great entertainer....).

So, we may end up with another Lab if everything works out....

Thanks! Ellie is 10 months old. We are hoping that adding another dog will keep them busy and help give her (actually both of them) the exercise they need. Have had multiple dogs in the past...
Well, gotta go, meeting them at the Dog Park in 30 minutes!
