Default Need advice on taking Duke to a "Fido Festival"

It's a dog centered event at our local fairgrounds. There's supposed to be health and wellness seminars, training demonstrations, a doggie play area, etc.
I plan on taking my own water and bowl, but was wondering what other things I should consider. He's UTD on his shots. The event only requires proof of rabies shots. All dogs are to be on a non-retractable leash. Also, any dog that's aggressive will be asked to leave. It sounds like fun. Here's a link:

Any advice/tips? This is the first time for both Duke and us at something like this.

We had a blast. Duke's never been around a lot of dogs, but I was so proud of him. He was so well behaved, even though he "goosed" one lady. They had a "play yard" for dogs. One for large dogs and one for small dogs. Duke was so laid back and friendly that I had several comments on his good behavior. There was a Web of Thrills Agility course, Ultimate Air Dogs, Lure for the Cure which looked like a lot of fun, but the line was way too long. There were Howling Woods Celebrity Wolf Dogs. You could get your picture taken with them for $10.00 (just the humans, not dogs). There was also the World Champion Finalist Disc Dog Show. A howl-0-weiner race for little dogs. The seminars were on giving puppy mill survivors a new life, prevention medicine, fitness for Fido and you, and a Gimme Shelter canine showcase, Homeopathy for your Dog, Getting Started in Agility. They had a food pavilion for humans and a bistro for canines. There was a Halloween parade followed by Spooktacular Masquerade Contest. Wish I'd gotten some photos of those costumes. I think my favorite was watching those dogs chase that lure around the course. There was one little dog that barked the whole way around. Definitely plan on getting there earlier next year so that Duke can have a go at it.
