My mom gave CPR to her 15 yr old toy poodle twice before she finally lost the dog to cardiac problems due to old age. Mom used to joke about never thinking she'd give mouth to snout to a dog...

Happy ending thanks to the quick actions of people willing to save an animal. I hate people that say oh it's just a dog, they (as we all know) are so much more than that!!!

Lovely story! What a hero that fire-fighter is, his dedication to preserving life. As labmom said, some may say it is just a dog, but it is SOOO much more than that, and i pity those that have that way of thinking.
