Who knows your dogs best in your house?

That would clearly be....me.

Last night the dogs were out in the fenced-in yard in the dark having their late night forage. Both had disappeared into the bushes. Hubby tried to find them, but couldn't see them. I could hear him calling them from the deck. Gradually I can hear panic start to creep into his voice as the dogs don't respond to him. (There have been a few escape attempts by Remy under the fence). I hear him call my name..."They're not coming..." and I see him out the back window start heading for the bushes at a trot.

I get up. Go to the back door. I yell "CHEESE!"

Two dogs come barrelling out of the bushes past my husband and practically bowl me over coming into the house.



I know how to get them to come in.

When there were two of us it was pretty well evenly divided. And then, he knew things about them I didn't know and I knew things he didn't... we shared that info.

It's either me or the cats in this house and sometimes the cats have the edge !

That would be me also. I can get the girls to do anything. Brian thinks using a stern, loud voice will make them listen...but it's just the opposite.
And in extreme cases, I just yell "I HAVE CHEESE!!" and they come running also...LOL
Works every time.

Me. MIL knows them well as she is home with all day but neither her or SU know them as well as I. They aren't that type of owners. Dogs hang around the house and get fed and get let out during the day, that's it.

I walk in the door and it is all over for them. MUMMIES HOME! DINNER! WALK! RIDE IN THE CAR! WOOHOO! Dad? Mom-Mom? Who are they?

Oh sorry! He tried to jump in the back seat one day b/c the smell of the pizza was to tantelizing for him while he sat in the front. LOL

Definately me. I care for Dio about 80% of the time. I can read his mind while my DH cannot read him!
