Diesel & I don't have this problem anymore, ever since he's been fully housetrained he actually lets me have an uninterrupted 7 hours every night!
But my sister sent me this article... when I had a cat she sent me everything cat-related she came across - guess now I can anticipate everything dog-related!! Anyhow, it has some interesting stories but what killed me was #1 on the list of "how to get your pet to sleep through the night"... the person doling out this ridiculous advice either never had a dog or had a very fat & I can only assume not completely happy dog.
Honestly, the dumbest piece of advice I've ever come across!....
"Knock off the Frisbee playing. There's a theory that says dogs are like athletes, the more you exercise them, the more they need it. If you want your dog to be a bit lazy, don't take him on so many walks, and feed him a little more."
Full article here, like I said, it has some interesting stories, just not the best advice!

Unless there is a hole in the bottom, the glass is always half full.
Oh my.
Pretty sure if I gave Willow any less exercise, she would be driving me even more crazy!
She turned 5 months old yesterday, and does sleep through the night (although she wakes up at 4:50 am. Every. Single. Morning!).
She gets multiple walks, several short training sessions, and runs off leash every evening with the other dogs and my parent's lab for at least an hour. And she's still nuts. LoL. I just chalk it up to her being a puppy and tell her it's a good thing she's so darn cute.
