Picking up my girl today!

She came through the surgery like a champ yesterday!

Vet said it went fabulous. Complete ACL tear (as we thought) but not too much damage to the meniscus, which is always good news! Joint is nice and stable now with the plate in there!

So, after post-op x-rays and coming out of the anesthetic she got moved to the recovery room and spent the night! Now she's loaded up on pain meds waiting to be picked up. She's being nice and quiet in her kennel and resting.

Pick her after work! I'm preparing for 2 weeks of the "cone and stitches" face (aka. looking pathetic). She has it down to a scient. I just won't look directly at her! :P

And, since I'm not always able to find the time to get on here - here is the blog I've started to track her progress, and it will be updated at least every couple days! Feel free to check it out (and harrass me if I become MIA from here too long).
