Sending her good thoughts and I hope her eye heals quickly. Maybe you can distract her with a treat.
I believe the best social program is a job
No tips on administering drops...and we've had scratched corneas aplenty in our house. Tell-tale sign is that greenish goopy discharge, and lots of discomfort. Healing is fast, though. Best wishes for a speedy recovery!
Ohhh you bet! We did different drops 4+ times a day for close to a year prior to Sam's surgery. We had it down to a science!
I found the easiest way was to have him sit, stand over him behind his head and sort of "hold" him with my knees, drops in one hand (closest hand to the affected eye) and use the other hand to hold his head under the chin and tilt the head up. Use the hand holding the drops to gently pull down the lower lid to create a little pocket, put the drops in and let go. Blink and they're done! That third eyelid of theirs is tricky though - and Sam became a master at knowing just when blink it! Bribing them with a treat afterwards helps!
Hope it heals quick! Eye problems are no fun!
