Every evening after dinner is finished and the dishes are done, Grammy goes into the pantry to prepare the three bowls of dry food for the dawg's 5:00 am morning breakfast. She always manages to "accidentally spill" a kernel or two. The three of them line up like vultures waiting their turn to grab a few tasty morsels that accidentally hit the floor.

By the way, it's also a periodic cause for much celebration when the food containers in the pantry are almost empty and I bring a new 40 Lb bag of Iam's into the kitchen to do the refilling. Pups somehow know that Daddy manages to accidentally spill some then too.

This was the day in late February when Rusty joined us. Cappy had just had a plug biopsy on his right shoulder the day before and we found out that it was malignant.
