Sweet Emma, Can You Come Visit Cappy?

My poor boy is bouncing off the walls and needs someone to calm him down. He's on two 20 MG tablets of Prednisone twice a day for 10 days. Then he goes down to two 1X/day for 10 days, and finally 2 every other day for 10 days.

He's constantly begging for food, he can't get enough to drink, has to go out to pee-pee every 15 minutes and then pants incessantly FULL-TIME in the meantime. I know he's uncomfortable and can't help himself but he's DRIVING ME ABSOLUTELY NUTS!

The prednisone and other meds are hopefully going to overcome his larnyx and lung problems without the need for surgery. I love my boy as much as a dawg can be loved but, sheesh ... I need a break. Please send Emma if she's available. I'll pick up first class round trip for both of you.

I feel your pain I could send over Halle she has been on steriods all summer for her allergies I will be so glad when frost hits and she can off them. Hope the prednisone helps Cappy

Aw poor Cappy!
Just make sure you don't give into the hungry-eyes! Our little papillion (crossed the rainbow bridge this past spring), was on prednisone on and off for the last few years of her life and my mother, always giving in, fed her "because she always looks hungry" and that little Pap turned into quite the chub!

Awwww sweet Cappy! I missed your post about he's having lung problems . I'm sending Emma over right away. Packing her bags now in fact. She wonders if it's nice weather in Texas? If so she needs to bring her bathing suit . She really is looking forward for the vacation. She wants to get away from the Swedish winter and isn't planning to come back until springtime...

Unfortunately, for you and Carol, Jim I can't be without my girl so long, so I'll come too!

Would you believe that we spent almost $700 for our grandson's round trip unescorted flight here from Las Vegas (1,200 miles) this summer!? They charge $100 extra each way for an unescorted minor, and $30 for a single piece of luggage. That was $260 of his ticket cost.

Wow can't believe how much it cost from Las Vegas<----> Texas for a little boy! 800 dollars from Sweden <----> Texas doesn't seem much at all!

And I can most definietly picture Emma right there in the middle .
