In the wee hours of Tuesday morning, I was violently ill with what turned out to be a crazy 48-hour stomach flu. I had never been so sick in my life, and broke my 23-year no puke record. I had fever, chills, crazy vomiting and some really nasty gastroenteritis. Ugh!
I took my first sick day ever, and the Brudders Goob were sooo good. Ollie was a little angel, and Henery would not let me out of touching distance. At one point in the afternoon, I was bundled inside my sleeping bag, laying on the couch, and Henery just had to be close by, so he climbed on top of me and lay down and snoozed right along with me. [picture quality not great, taken with my phone]
Here is Henery with his new bed!! I bought him one of these MollyMutt's Dog Duvets: Perfect Afternoon, though our next one will be this one: Mr Roboto.
One of the Brudders Goob, with Ollie serious for once. lol.
They are such handsome boys I love that bed too!
Only after the last tree has been cut down, only after the last river has been poisoned, only after the last fish has been caught, only then will you find that money cannot be eaten. - Cree prophecy
Such a handsome boy. And a good caretaker, too.
I hope you feel better! Poor you. I had a similar thing about six months ago, and I really wished that someone would just smash my head with a hammer so I could pass out and not wake up until I was over the worst part. I have never been so sick in my life--bacterial pneumonia with a 105 fever and coughing up blood was far easier to take.
They are so sweet! Especially Henery, not letting you out of touching distance.
I remember having a stomach virus a couple of years ago (and hope you are feeling much better...OMG, those are the worst!). Anyway, I was in bed for 24 hours, and I remember being so surprised at how close Angus stayed. Simon came in and checked up on me a few times, but Angus did not leave the side of the bed (well, except to eat...he's still Angus!).
Aw, how sweet is that. Glad he was there to help you feel better.
Magnum is my little puke monster... She comes into the bathroom with me and eats the puke as I'm puking into the toilet. Gah! Gross Gross GROSS, and I have to puke and hold her back with one hand. LOL.
23 years? That is some streak. Every time someone in my family is sick, I mention the 12.5 year streak that I have going (haven't puked since I was pregnant). Your streak was amazing, I hope I am that lucky! You sure had a great nurse though, gotta love it when they won't leave your side when something is wrong. Glad you are feeling better, it sucks to be sick.
BTW, your kitchen floor is beautiful!

Some people are like slinkies. Not really good for much, but bring a smile to your face when pushed down the stairs.
Awwww Henery luvs his new bed and he sure luvs his momma even more . What a good good boy he is. Hope you are back to your old self now Felicia and you won't be sick for 23 more years!
