DDs Cockapoo got into some burrs, all around his mouth. We think we got them all out but dog seems to be driven to try to eat carpet or anything else. A little coughing and something like hicups but not hicups. He might not be able to take full breaths. I don't know if this is trauma induced fro us removing the burrs or something we need to get to the evet with. Help!

Please ignore panic plea for help. Louie fixed it himself. Emptied stomach of everything that went into it since last night. Now he is prancing around trying to figure out why everyone was upset.

Glad it all worked it's self out! How scary for all of you!

The little had a face full of those ball like burrs. I think he got pretty traumatized with the removal process. Let's just say I an not that delicate and bedside manner is not one of my strengths.
He seems quite fine now.

Good to hear that it worked itself out. If he had eaten some, I would have suggested hydrogen peroxide to make him vomit them all up, but it sounds like he did that himself..!
