Default Today I realized Sammi is no longer a puppy!

When did you know your pup or pups were no longer truely puppies! I mean you know how we always hear that labs are puppies until they are at least 3- well she is 3 1/2 and it hit me, she is an adult! We went for a nice walk- very pleasent no pulling, just walked nicely. We get home she got her treat- nice set stay, took it with a soft mouth. Then the real telling, I brought the broom out- Sammi has always tried to attack the broom Hates it, I have worked and worked with her to "leave it" well today- she came towards the broom- I nicely said " leave it" and she did! Just like that- followed me around the kitchen but not once did she come after the broom again! Now she is laying next to me sound asleep! Awww sweet girl Momma loves you so! All the work on her part and mine has paid off Oh and just let me say she is far from perfect, she is just perfect for us

So, I have about 22 more months of Bauer attacking the vacuum cleaner? I guess I can live with that.
