New Family Addition

We welcome Willow and Autumn’s new playmate Mackenzie Elizabeth ! born 12/26



To stay on Lab topic here is a picture of Autumn getting her first introduction to Mackenzie’s scent. I brought home a blanket she was sleeping on to help introduce her to the Dogs.

Mom and baby came home yesterday all is well so far. The Labs pretty much just wanted to get a good sniff in which I let them do one at a time very carefully. Willow doesn’t seem to mind too much and got board but I do have to watch Autumn a bit.

Where the baby is so small and Autumn is so young herself she had that stupid puppy grin on her face…I just don’t want her to think that Mackenzie is a new toy for her.. She’s so small ( 8.4) that the Dogs have had toys bigger than her so just to be safe I’ll make sure she keeps a little distance for now.

So now the fun part begins keeping the dogs away from the baby toys…I can already see the chewed up nipples and pacifiers. And I’m sure if I remember from when my 4 year old was a newborn a diaper to a dog is nothing more than a Burrito
