Default Ugh - When you're used to cardio EVERY DAY.......

....and then you break your regimen for a handful of days, it's REALLY HARD getting back into the swing.

Our treadmill has been out of commish since Saturday, owing to its placement in our bedroom. It is next to a window that is being replaced as part of a home renno, and it had to be folded up and moved.

This morning, I finally got THE BEAST back out (although still in a temp location) and plugged back in again.

    OOOF.

    Killer.

speaking of treadmills, i really wish ours had a steeper incline. it was free, though, and beggars can't be choosers. i guess any incline is better than none.

I know. I hate breaking my routine. It makes me feel down. I've been fighting a cold since last week and have just been doing some weights and stuff. No running on the treadmill to get too overheated. I don't feel so good.

isn't it amazing how quickly you get used to exercising and how crappy you feel when you have to skip it or slow it down?

Can you prop a brick under each front foot?

I told DH that I am getting my treadmill and putting in the garage. He said what are you going to do when its freezing out there? I said I dress warmer and sweat NOW I gotta get the treadmill !!

he also added WHY do you want to do that...you are fine the way you are. I don't think so!! Then he went on to add something about getting in shape for who? GEEZ MYSELF!!

why do people start getting paranoid when the other one wants to get in shape? :suspious:
