The Plank:
OMG, it's a killer. I'm up to three minutes (started at one, adding 30 seconds every other week). By 2:59, I am begging for relief!!!
I have the Biggest Loser exercise videos and they do lots of those. It is harder than it looks.
I use to love doing that. When you want to try something different Try lifting one leg up keeping it straight . Then when you have mastered that you can bend your knee up and pulse it. Man a year ago I use to be soo in shapeI bet I couldn't even do that for a min. I'm going to have to try now LOL
our personal trainer gave us those to do.. I hate them just as much as the invisible chair!!!!
I started on my knees doing the plank and have increased to a "real" plank... but after a minute i'm toast.
Shocking, isn't it? For something that looks so simple. And 45 seconds in, you look down at your arms and they're quivering like a bowl of loose Jello. I have to dig really deep to get to 3 mins.
I never time myself, but I'm going to try it tonight and see how long I can last.
Wow. Good for you! I can only do a minute, and then I need to get up and have a little wheeze and a sweat.
