I don't think its working for me. I know it is totally psychological, but logging in everything I eat all day....is making me hungry!! I'm finding I'm so focused on food I can't stop thinking about it! I've put on 2 lbs!
I think it is great to have access to a database that is showing me all the calories that I"m taking in, but this is making me crazy!!

Funny you should mention that because I'm thinking of giving it up, too. Something about seeing that "YOU COULD HAVE EATEN X NUMBER MORE CALORIES TODAY" just--- sits on my brain 'til I'm rooting in the kitchen at 10PM for more pretzles or something. TOTALLY UNHELPFUL!!
Also -- I'm counting carbs, not cals, so I feel like TDP has taken my eye off the ball.
It's cool tracking exercise and the number of cals burned per day, but since logging on in May and using it to drop the final 10lbs that I wanted, I've found it a little detrimental overall.........
I used to use a website called sparkpeople? do you guys know about that one? It was great but I agree, tracking everything sucks.... you just gotta burn more than you eat. Keeping that in my mind each day helps me.. I lost almost 1kg this week!!
An alternative that I find very useful is to not even weigh myself - just measure with a dressmakers tape. I did that too this week and I lost 1.5cms from my butt!! Yeah!
I find it's hard to get on and log my food, I guess if I was writing it down as I go, then maybe?

I find it easier to write it now as I go too, it's hard sometimes though.Originally Posted by Wendy
