The cals they recommend per day. Are they 'as consumed' or 'as netted'?
I'm being recommended somewhere around 1,800 cals/day to lose 2 lbs per week (I'm STILL trying to trim my final !10 lbs). So my caloric intake hovers somewhere OVER that #. But with my exercise thrown in, I'm under.
Should I be trying to keep the as-consumed cals under the threshold?
I'm thinking so. Progress has been slow using the other method. Gah. This is going to get tough(er).
I really don't know...I just started messing with that site last week.
good luck
If I want to lose 2lbs a week the Daily Plate says I can only eat 999 calories a day :ugly:

I just checked this site. It's pretty cool. My calorie intake for 1.5 pounds loss per week would be 1,820. How long have you used the site, Dan?
Started May 17. Am down 2.5 lbs over 2.5 weeks. Progress is there but lagging. I may try to stay under the CONSUMED cals not the NET cals. This was all so much easier when all I was doing was limiting carbs. But it seems like after Feb/March, I stalled. Big-time. Am looking for a kick-start to peel the final pounds left to target-weight.Originally Posted by toyland444
