3 weeks on SB and lost only 3 lbs!!! But went down an entire pant size! How wierd is that?? I'm happy...it's noticeable...but the darn numbers need to MOVE!!
Hang in there!!!!! The bigger changes are coming. Stay tough!
Congrats!!! That's great!!! Keep it up...I agree with Dan!![]()
Let's see..If you went down a whole pants size and you only lost three pounds, that means the weight had to shift some where else. Did your hat size get larger?Just kidding.

Always remember muscle weighs more and is smaller then fat! So you can make big changes and not see it that much of a change on the scale. Thats why I rarely weigh, infact on "Body for Life" they tell you to only measure and "throw out the scale"- It sounds to me like you are doing great, keep it up!!

Politicians and diapers should be changed frequently and all for the same reason.

Keep it up Randi! I know how frustrating it is. I'm telling myself I'm building muscle weight. Has to be the reason, right?![]()
Hang in there. You must be doing something right to go down a pant size.

So the scale has moved another 2 lbs. or so but I'm feeling good!! I get disappointed at the scale but a compliment here and there is making a big difference to me!!
I agree 100% - I got into the habit (when I lost alot of weight a few years ago) to weigh myself AND measure myself every week. Measure all the important parts, upper thigh, biceps, bum, hips, waist etc and stick the results each week into a spreadsheet with the week end date. You'll be surprised at the difference in your measurements compared to the scales!! And the even better thing is that you can go back once you reach your target goal weight/size and see your overall accomplishment. It's also a great motivator if you had a week where you don't lose much - because you can see the previous weeks so your progress is right there for you on paper in black & white.Originally Posted by dipete
I still have my spreadsheet - and wow myself every time I go back and look and see that I lost almost 20cms from my backside.... unbelievable! It's also a great motivator to keep it off![]()
