I cannot stick with it. I can't. I've been terrible. None of my clothes fit. I untag myself in Facebook pictures because I'm embarrassed by how I look. And now we've started the Julia Child project? That's it. If I'm not going to be the size of a barge by Christmas I've got to do something about it. So does my hubby. He just spent a fortune on all new pants and shirts because he couldn't fit into his old stuff. (I'm still squeezing into mine and hoping the seams hold out)
But we've come up with a plan. The issue is we need to work out in the a.m. But we hate getting up. We were taking turns in the mornings with one of us getting up with the dogs and the other getting to sleep in. NO MORE. Now we both get up and take turns watching the dogs while the other hits the equipment in the basement.
Today was Day 1. I want to lose 20 pounds. Here we go again....wish me luck!

Good luck!
The engineer says it is a simple problem to solve. Really, it is. Need to look at it this way. What goes in, must get burned or it gets stored.
Input (Food) - Output (Work or exercise) = net weight change.

Thanks Guys! I know I can do it. Its just making the time committment. But now that I have my hubby on board it will be easier to do. We can get competitive sometimes.![]()

You can do it, I`ve started and stopped so many times in the past 5 years I can`t even count...
If I can do it, you can do it!!!
My WW leader said something last week that stuck with me.
If you don`t make changes, you won`t see a change.
In order to really enjoy a dog, one doesn't merely try to train him to be human,
The point of it is to open oneself to the possibility of becoming partly a dog.

Im starting over for the kajillionth time too- I totally relate!! My hubby started getting up at the crack of dawn and going to the gym while I get up with baby and puppy. If I had my way I would be up at the butt crack of NOON every day, buuuuuut when you have kiddos and pups, they just dont like that much LOL!!!
You have the first day down, just keep on trucking.
Good luck! Sounds like you have a plan and the most important thing, I think, is your husband is willing to do it with you. My husband doesn't care or understand how hard it is for me and is always bringing the wrong food in the house and won't even go for a walk with me.

good luck
Goodness, I wish you lived closer, I need a workout buddy....I'm in the same boat as you, except my hubs is losing weight (grrrr, I'm mean its great but I'm jealous)...I'll keep wishing good thoughts your way... I'm starting over today too...
I did find (cuz I hate to work out by myself) a Denise Austin 20 min kick boxing routine that is awesome (ok, it kills me and I hurt afterwards and can hardly do the whole thing yet, but it tones EVERYTHING)..
So, good luck!!!
Mom to Indy 6/12/98 to 11/16/11 (always in my heart), and Jobe (Working TDI) English Labs, and Annie our Golden Retriever (TDI), and Kodiak (who will one day hopefully be a TDI dog if he doesn't kill me first).
