The purge period is the worst. After that, it gets easier. And with the snax, you're pretty much guaranteed never to be hungry. You may get tired of almonds/pistachios/beef jerky, but you'll never be grumbly in the tumbly.Originally Posted by MidwestGirl

I know I couldn't do it either. I think for me the best route is eating everything I normally eat, but in smaller portions. It is very slow going, but at least I am going in the right direction. I'm sure you'll find something that will work for you.

I started SB, I'm starting the 2nd week of phase 1. It has gotten easier, the 2nd and 3rd day were really rough and I had to force myself to get out of the house so I wouldn't eat anything I shouldn't. It is a lot easier right now for me because my husband is off with the Army right now and I don't have to cook for him and have his snacks in the house. This first week I've lost 5lbs, I had stalled after losing 20lbs and started SB and actually like the fact that it isn't as strict as Atkins and you can have carbs. If you need anything let me know.
GOOD WORK!!!!!!!!!! Weightloss on SB is kinda like a snowball running downhill. Slow at first. But then the pounds really begin to drop, given enough time and effort. Hang in! ;DOriginally Posted by TexasRebel
I wanted to say good luck to you too!!!
THANKS !! I am on day 8, I have lost 3 lbs. I need to exercise too but with the crappy weather that hasn't happened yet.
I will have to admit I am kinda getting used to not eating SUGAR...and I am kinda nervous to add any carbs back.
Well now off to eat my protein bfast ;D
