Sailing toward summer and warmer weather and probably the HARDEST time to stick to a decent daily cal count.
Tempting:
...
- Ice cream
- Corn on the cob (ultra-carby)
- Hot dogs on the grill/Hamburgers on the grill (not TOO bad but the rolls can be damaging)
- Ice cream
- Salt water taffy
- Carmel corn
- Ice cream
- Pasta salad (ultra-carby)
- Grilled pineapple (ultra-carby)
- Watermelon (ultra-carby)
- Ice cream
The saving grace is that usually my caloric burn per day ALSO rises, what w/more oppty to bike, swim, etc.

I know what you mean. I told my husband no corn this year, well maybe for the 4th. We usually get fresh corn from the farmers here every week. It's gonna be hard. I did find Ball Park Franks that are made from turkey that are only 45 calories and 0 fat, I forget the carbs but they're low too. They are not too bad, and I'm a hot dog lover.
I have to physically push my chair away from corn on the cob. Unmonitored, I could easily eat 3-4 pieces without even pausing.
And then ice cream for dessert.

Summer's actually not bad for me, food-wise.
A. When it's hot, I'm just not as hungry. And I get HOT. I already don't like the mid-80s outside and it'll be 90s+ and humid.
B. I'm not a sweet eater.
C. I prefer vegetables to fruit. Love to grill zucchini, squash, etc in the summer.
Of course when State Fair time rolls around, scratch all that. I'll stuff myself silly in 90 degrees, 90% humidity with corn dogs, milkshakes, elephant ears, etc. =)
Everything will be okay in the end. If it's not okay, it's not the end. -- Unknown

I literally physically crave ice cream. Sometimes I can quench it with a small glass of milk...but that usually doesn't cut it quite as good as some Ben & Jerry's Chocolate Fudge Brownie. Yummmmm!!!

I crave ice cream, too, but it kills me. I've found I can shut the craving up with sugar-free popsicles and fudgesicles.
