So, yeah...just put back on the 2 lbs I lost. You get excited when you see a number on the scale and you think "What the heck...I'll have that dark chocolate/chocolate mousse/ganache covered cake...and 3 glasses of wine..." and then more wine...and mac n cheese with bacon...and french fries...and more wine...and chocolate gelato...and then take out half of a pastry selection tray from Whole Foods...
*diet comes to screeching halt*
Its terrible. I'm one of those people who can't have just one. And once you open the flood gates for chocolates/desserts....I'm done. I go CRAZY. Like "can't shove it in my mouth - can barely taste it" crazy.
I've come back to earth. Just have to get through hubby's bday tomorrow night (Carvel ice cream cake...yummm!) and otherwise sticking with the diet plan and NO WINE.
Just found out we are having a reunion for our college department in August...people I have not seen in 20 years. 15 more pounds....15 more pounds...15 more pounds....
