Meet My Cats

Just figured I would introduce my cats finally.

Wicked or also known as princess or little miss priss lol. She is my only female and she rules the roost and is sure to keep the boys in their place. She is almost two years old and I adopted her from the shelter when she was a kitten. She is my constant cuddle bug and chatter box. She can also be jumpy and nervous at times. But she is my special girl and I can't imagine life without her.




Smidgeon is my miracle boy. I witnessed him being tossed from a moving car window in front of my house. I rushed out and scooped his tiny body up unsure if he was even alive. He was just four weeks old and fit perfectly in the palm of my hand (hence the name Smidgeon). He was covered in fleas, was missing patches of fur, and was nothing but skin and bones. I had no idea if he was going to make it but I promised him I would try. After a couple baths with special antibiotic shampoo and an iv of fluids he started to perk up. The baths were terrifying as the water rinsed bright red from the blood from the fleas that took over his tiny body. It took two months before he was truly healthy again with a full coat and a thick middle. He turned a year old in October and is the clown and occasional trouble maker of the group.




Quincy is my first purebred cat, A Persian and came to me from my uncle. My uncle called me one day and asked me if I wanted his one year old male Persian with no name. He said he was moving and buying new furniture and was sick of his hair all over his house. He told me if I didn't take him that he was taking him to the animal shelter. So of course I agreed to take him. And with his arrival he got his first true name Quincy which I named him after my favorite character from the tv show Instant Star. Quincy is a typical Persian super mellow and chilled out. Occasionally he will run around and wrestle with the others though and always makes me smile. He is a special boy.




Emmett is our newest addition. I was randomly searching petfinder this summer (always a bad idea) and came across his page. He had been at the no kill shelter for over a year and he just looked like the sweetest boy that deserved a great forever home. So I called just on a whim to see how much his adoption fee was and came to find out his was $10 cheaper because he had been at the shelter for so long. So I told them I would like to come in and see him. It was love at first sight and I had to take him home. He is three years old and the sweetest boy in the house. He loves to cuddle and give kisses and head bunts. He's also a major chatter and can be really loud. His best buddy is Smidgeon. Oh and he is named after the character Emmett from the Twilight series.

He gets along really good with them. He occasionally gets on Wicked and Quincy's nerves with his annoying puppy ways lol. But Smidgeon, Emmett and him all love to play and groom each other.
