Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease -- anyone?

My cat, who is a little over one years old, was just diagnosed with FLUTD. Not good news. Does anyone have any experience with this? Any feedback would be helpful. Thanks so much.

Various cats of mine have had this in the past. They have all done very well on a course of AB's. Overweight cats are more prone to this and stress can be an issue as well. Also try to avoid food with fish in it. So basically you want a laid back, skinny cat that eats meat and drinks a lot
