    Default Cat cages??

Does anyone have one of these? I am really thinking about buying one of more for my house. I would only use when we are asleep and at work. I am wondering if all would be ok in one cage, or should I split them up.

If you do put them together I would hang around and monitor until you know for sure they are both ok together in tight quarters. That looks like it might work for mine so they could be outside but be safe too.

Would it be wrong to put them in there at night and during the days while we both are at work.

Are they getting into things they shouldn't? If so then no it isn't wrong, safety is better then a 2am trip to the emergency room.

No, but someone is going potty all over my houes. We have had them all checked and its not a health issue. So I was thinking of maybe putting them in cages when I am not around so I wont have to keep trying to figure out who did it.

Good plan, especially since cat urine is a real treat to clean up. I still think it is ok to "crate" your cats.

Ditto, I would watch them. But you have 3 cats right? It might be small for 3 adult cats. We had this kind of cage for our ferret and he loved it. I would hate for you too go and buy this and have it to small for 3 cats.

Seeing you are having a potty problem maybe you can get the cage
and put one in at a time this way you will be able to see who is the one that's going potty. That might help.

My Sister had a cat that was peeing all over and she took him in and they did tests and nothing come to find out he was doing it for attention and he wanted to go outside (he was a stray) they had 3 other cats.

    Sorry your going though this.

See. I am thinking the cage will be to small for all three as well. So I was thinking. Mambo doesn't go in his crate anymore. It has two openings. I was thinking maybe I would be able to connect this big cat cage things to his crate and also be able to use the other side of the dog crate as an opening to the litter box. I am just thinking now. I wouldn't be able to put all three in the one cage.

I have also tried to whole figure out which kitty it is. I don't know if who ever it is has caught on. But I only find pee when all three are at.

I even thought about trying to make a larger cage type things.

It sounds like you may have more then 1 peeing. Cats are like dogs they will smell the pee and pee over it. Do you know where the spot is? Or is it all over and in diffenet spots? Are you cleaning it with Natures Miracle? If they are peeing only in one room maybe you can block off that room.
Also is there litter box always clean? And how many litter boxes do you have? I have 2 cats and 2 boxes. They are in the basement and I have them right next to toghter.

Is Mambo's crate the big size? If you find a way to get to them to stay toghter the cages and then I think they (Kittys) should be ok.

Have the cats ever been in a cage toghter? Maybe before you go and buy the cage put 2 of the cats in Mambo's crate and see if they like being in a cage and that close toghter. Some cats like to be lefted along.

If you do get the cage toghter take a picture.

Hope some of this make sense and works out for you, I know cat pee is the worst. Keep us posted on kittys.

I'm confused. Do you have litter boxes for them? if a house trained cat starts peeing randomly around the house there is almost always a reason for it.

I wouldn't keep multiple cats in such close quarters. One very easy going and laid back cat might tolerate being in one of them for short periods but they are not ideal. I would favor shutting them in a room.
