Even though I know alot of you do not agree. Beanie could use some good thoughts. She is getting her claws removed today. I am going to call about three and see how everything went.
She received lots of love and extra treats yetersday. She wasnt a happy girl this morning.

Beanie is home, she was so happy to see me. For such a tiny kitty she sure is loud. I am suprised how well she is. Last time Romey kinda was out of it, but than again he came home the next day. She has gotten a special treat, Had a cat nip mouse waiting for her. The other kitties are so happy to see her. She is sitting in my lap right now. Mambo is on the floor starring at us. She has already walked over and slapped the other kitty, but with no claws, farrah didnt even budge. Guess she wanted to tell her look I am back and still run things around here.
Awwwwwwww send over kisses for Beanie and a speedy recovery.
Amanda update us when you get her home.

I wont get to pick her up until after work Wednesday. I know my other kitties miss her alot.
Wish I didn't read this thread. PoorPoor cat having to go thru a toe amputation . Hopeful the US will follow most of the other countries and ban this practice.
Thanks for the good thoughts.
Good thoughts for your kitty...

Whoops, replied to the other thread before I saw this one. I'm glad Beanie is doing well and home, hopefully she will recover without any complications and won't have any pain. Sounds like things are going well so far.
BTW, what method did your vet use? Just curious, since there are more and less invasive procedures, I'm not attacking your choice. If she's recovering well, it sounds like your vet did a good, careful job.

Well they used the basic way, not the laser. I am not sure how many ways they can do it. But I was amazed with the results. When Romey was done a few years ago. They sent me home with pain meds and he wasnt very happy for a few days. With Beanie she acts like nothing ever happened. She was playing and being beanie the minute we got home. They kept her for two nights, so maybe that had alot to do with it, since its harder to keep them still at home.
