Default What brand dry cat food do you feed your adult cats?

Has anyone fed Taste of the Wild? I want to go as grain-free as possible, without going raw. I feed the dry kibble mainly for convenience. It's in a self-feeder and they eat whenever they want. My male has gained a bit of extra weight in the past year and I'm thinking the grain (rice, barley) in the kibble has been a factor in this weight-gain. I know that he would probably do better on canned food, but he's picky with the canned food. The female is easy, she'll eat anything and loves canned cat food.

My cat, Trixie, eats Whiskas Dry food like these:

    She likes all flavours alike.

My ex-cat, Lucky, still lives at my parents' house, had renal problems and was temporarily prescribed Hill's Science Plan dry food, but now is being fed AlmoNature wet food. (he's my x-cat cos when I got married he remained living at my parents' house)

We feed our cats this Seafood Sensations® | Friskies® Premium Brand Cat Food by Purina My ca Fat Albert gained so much weight when he came back I'm still in shock. He was obese but got the same amount of food as my other cats. So I just cut back his food in take and made sure he went outside more with me for exercise. But with most cat's strict inside cats and if yours is I would get some toys(if he likes them) and have him play for a little bit.

I started mine on Taste of the Wild in October for the same reason, they are FAT! They love it and slowly they are becoming more "fit". My vet is happy with the rate they are losing and they are healthy which is what matters most to me. I did not have any problem changing them over and I would absolutely recommend the food.

Except when they were itty bitty my two old kitties have had nothing but Hills Prescription CD dry all their lives. They won't eat anything else. Even when one had pancreatitis several years ago I tried tuna and everything else to entice her but she didn't go for it. When she finally started eating again it was the Hills Presciption CD dry only.

We feed TOTW Canyon River...my 1 picky cat loves it! They have always free fed never fat before and are still not! My little one has bad skin allergies and to top the great fur and less shedding her bad flares are not as bad. (I tried the merrick limited ingredient grain free...they literally wouldnt eat it...that was before I had tried totw)

Cleo gets Go! Kibble which is grain free, and also because she likes the small round kibbles. Because she was a rescue and had a hard start in life shedoesnt have all her teeth. That is left out all day, all night and she eats when she wants. She also gets Wellness grain free meaties, which is about 1-2 tbsps in the a.m and p.m.

Since shes been on it shes leaned out and put on more muscle, she actually weighs more, but looks skinnier. Shes an lndoor kitty as well.

Their vet commented on my boys weight Tucker is 11lbs and Merlin is 13lbs so we took them off cat chow and put them on pro plan. They haven't gained more weight but haven't really lost any either so I am not going to complain too much.
