GO get her teethe checked. It could be a problem with them and they are hurting sort of like a teething puppy.

It's not a siamese is it? We had one that chewed (and sucked) on fabric. No cure that I know of.

My cat chews paper..the boys have had to use the "the cat ate my homework" excuse. Lol.

The only training tool that has worked for my cats is a spray bottle. Spraying the cat every time it chews on something it shouldn't. The trick is being consistent.

Forgot to put: My cat shreds the curtains to pieces. He is a long haired domestic (I am guessing I know the dog breeds better). I have cat sit a simese and that cat ws crazy. I think he thought he was a chihuahua.

This. For some reason, they love to suck on stuff. It must be something in the lineage.

As for stopping it, bitter apple spray on pieces that can be sprayed with it, and a squirt gun for the rest of the time.

Tucker was rescued at 4 weeks and yes he suckles on his favorite blankets. There isn't a radio clock in our house with the wire antenna left on it. My computer speakers no longer work because he chewed through the wires, and SO's work phone had to be replaced because he chewed through the wire. Tucker shreds papers, runs off with nail files, napkins, pens left on desks or in pen holders, anything he can get his mouth on it is gone. Spray bottle might work but not for him he thinks it is just another game. We are hoping that he grows out of some of this behavior as he is only 9 months old.

My girlfriend's cat chews plastic bags, especially like the ones you get at a department store. Squirt guns work on him.
