Cat cough

My cat coughs/gacks and sometimes it's just foam. She acts fine otherwise and she is 10 yrs old. She just started this about 2 days ago.

Any thoughts? Maybe a hairball stuck?

It sounds like a hairball to me too, my cat Pasha used to get them all the time, I gave her some oil, forgot what kind and that usually worked good. Maybe someone else knows too, be careful, I remember hearing that hair balls can block and become dangerous

Sounds like a strain of kennel cough.
