I had to take braxton to the vet last night, it looks like he has kennel cough.. Had the vaccine for it last year when it was recommended by the vet...I guess there are different strains just like the flu for us? how often should that get the vaccine for this..there does not seem to be a standard in place.
the little one has the sniffles now and she had the vaccine for it a week ago today.

That is so sad. Do you know where they picked it up. Will they be able to fix up Braxton? I am wishing them good health.

I think my older one got it first, I think it was at doggy day care....3 weeks before that he had pink eye..same place would be my bet. they are both doing fine and done with there meds. the cough didnt get bad..only heard it 2 times in about an hour and he was at the vet an hour later. the little one coughed maybe once or twice during her meds period. I had gone into the doggy daycare place and told them about it right away..they acted like he could not have caught it here.
I need to figure out some thing else for the little one to get socialized with other dogs.
