Thought I'd better introduce myself............

I've been lurking for a couple of months so I thought I'd better drop in and say hello.

I'm "Mum" to a beautiful 6 month old black Lab called Maggie. This is the first Lab I have owned although extended family have had Labs for years. My DH wasn't keen to get a dog but he has been totally converted and has been known to just pop outside to 'talk' to Maggie!

So far general training is going OK, potty training seems to have suddenly clicked and we are still working on the separation anxiety (mine, not hers

What a pretty girl! Welcome to the forum. We had a Maggie too. We lost her in May, she was 12. We got Sophie in June, and she will be 8 months on the 13th. There are other members from Australia on here too, and some from New Zealand. Anyway, welcome and I hope you enjoy it here.

Mine is also black about a quarter the size of Maggie (only ~ nine weeks old). Maggie is beautiful and looks very relaxed and happy.

Welcome! I have a very hard time of getting pics of my black lab in the snow but he doesnt like pictures anyway! My yellow lab is very photogenic and I call him my"super model" sometimes other times it is not so nice things,lol.
