Hi my name is Debbie. I am from South Africa. I had two yellow Labs and lost both due to cancer. Now we have a 4 months old chocolate Lab. My new puppies name is Choco.
Welcome! I am so sorry for the loss of your 2 dogs, cancer is a horrible disease that takes far too many of these wonderful dogs. I am so glad that you have a new baby to help you heal. I am sure you will find lots of information, advice and support here.
Welcome Debbie. This site really does bring all of us Lab lovers together. I am from British Columbia Canada. My last lab was called Choco but I got him at 6. He was a wonderful dog. I was so depressed for months after we helped him leave our world peacefully from cancer of the spleen. Then out of the blue we saw some Lab pups and I now have Jack. He was 10 weeks when we picked him up and I love him sooo....... much. He is such a part of the family. Enjoy your boy... I think. Keep him safe and love him.

Hi! Welcome to the forum! I hope you like it here!
These are my 2 awesome pets! I have more pets though! I have 2 hermit crabs named Mango and Seashore! I love all of my pets!
Hi Judy and Jack. Thank you I know exactly what you mean. I miss my two yellow Labs so much. They are both buried in our garden. Choco is doing so well and he is a gorgeous boy. I shall never forget the days when we help our two Labs to leave this world and at this moment I still cry when I talk about them. I so glad to be part of this group. Thank you that you people let me feel so welcome. I just want to mention that I am afrikaans and that my english it not that good. So please be patient with me.
Thank you Morla.
Welcome! I am so sorry for your loss, it really is the worst thing about owning a dog, they are never with us long enough.
Congrats on the puppy, i look forwad to hearing the puppy stories
BTW - your English is very good!

Welcome. The new pup will keep you busy. I lost my Benny in August and we adopted a yellow lab recently.
Enjoy!
The voices in my head may not be real, but they have some good ideas!
Welcome Debbie! I am so sorry for you loss. We lost our 12 yr old fox red in May. It is so hard, my heart goes out to you. I am glad you found your Choco! We got our chocolate, Sophie in June. She is 7 mo now. She is a joy! A handful, but a joy. She has helped us with our grief and your Choco will.
