Hello everyone. I am new to this forum but not labs. We had a chocolate lab for a little over 4 years. Sadly we had to put him to sleep after a sudden illness last summerthat left us with 3 dogs. Mollie-12 y/o Shepard mix, Taz-7 y/o dachshund mix, Maggie- 6 y/o schnauzer mix. Then August of this year my princess Mollie had to be put to sleep. She had hip dysplagia and could not get around. My heart literally broke. I had her since 1999. We adopted her from a shelter. She was my best friend. My husband and I had been looking around for another lab puppy the last few months. We found a breeder close to us and her dog had just had puppies. We went and looked at them and fell in love with this chubby little yellow lab with a chocolate nose. They are 3 weeks old now so we won't be getting him until after thanksgiving and we are so excited to have another puppy. I look forward to being a part of this forum

Welcome! We have a dudley as well!
Thank you! My husband likes things that are different and Jackson(our new puppy) was the only one in the litter with a brown nose so we picked him. We were set on a chocolate lab until we saw him and we caved lolI am trying to upload pics but it keeps saying error.
Welcome and congratulations on your new baby! I love the name you have decided on and he sounds like a sweetie! I still can not figure out the picture thing, I get the error message also. I will one of these days have one of my kids sit down with me as they are tech savvy, I am challanged! I hope you enjoy all the advice and info here. I am very sorry that you lost your Mollie and your chocolate Lab, we never have them long enough and they sure take a piece of your heart when they leave. I hope your new baby helps you heal, I know mine has helped me tremedously in the past 7 weeks!
Welcome and have fun with your new puppy! to upload pics I dont think you can till your 10th post. the easiest way is to get a photobucket accout(it is free) adn then upload photos there. After that resize them to whatever size and the copy the IMG code to the mesage box u right in to make a new post and then pastecan't wait to see pics.
