Hi! New Lab owner here!

Hi! I have one Lab at the moment, along with my 13 year old beagle that I've had since I was two. Jack (my Lab) came into my life when I was 14 as a birthday present from my parents. I just turned 16 a couple months ago and he will be turning 3 in Feburary. I wanted a dog to train and from what I have been told, I did a fairly good job!

Jack is my best friend and greatest companion. This is my first lab but my Dad's family raised and had them around when I was younger while my Mom's family raised GSD's. Jack is an extremely smart dog and I love working with him. He is in training to be a Therapy Dog and he has taken on the role of guiding and assisting Dakota, my 13 yr old Beagle. We never taught Jack to help out with Dakota, he just took to it naturally. He guides him away from the fence, helps him up the stairs and if Dakota is out in the yard alone, you just tell him to find Dakota and he brings him back to the house.

I'm looking forward to sharing pictures and stories with all of you, I am an avid photographer and as soon as I figure out how to post pictures on the forum, I'll let you all see my wonderful Jack!
