13 year old lab with tennis ball size lump on neck

We just discovered a large tennis ball size lump on our boys neck..previously it was small ..in the last 2 weeks it has grown large...has anyone had any similar experience...thanks..kaya' worried dad

Hopefully it's just a harmless fat lump but I'd get it checked by a vet to make sure it's nothing serious. My boy had one on his side. It shows up in this pic.

i'd see if they can aspirate and pray it's a lipoma.
