I've been browsing around this site for a few months now and decided to join this great community. I'm a first time owner or "dad" as I'm getting used to being called, ha. I adopted this fantastic little stinker from my local humane society back in April when he was 4 months old. His name is Magnus and he is a lab mix, although the vet and everyone else thinks says a regular lab with a few coat abnormalities (i.e. white patches). Anyways, I saw this sub-forum and thought I'd say hi first before posting questions in the others. Excited to meet everyone! Thanks!

Welcome. May purebred labs have white on the chest or sometimes the feet. There are many ways a mismark can show up. It is all in genetics and can happen.

Keeping getting a bunch of errors when trying to upload, not sure why. Files seems to be below max size limit. Saw that most people use photobucket anyways. working on that as we speak.

If you reduce your pics to 640X480 before you upload them to photobucket, file size shouldn't be a problem. Copy the IMG code from PB & paste it into your post.

If you post pics in your first 6 posts, they wont be immediately visible. They go into "moderated mode" & need to approved by a moderator. Unfortunately it's an anti spam measure. Hard on the genuine ones like yourself but it's the price we pay for a spam free site.
