Meet my new doggie Roxy

Hello everyone,

I just got a new doggie named Roxy. She is 16 weeks old and weights 36 lbs. She's going to be a big girl apparently as the Vet told me. She is the frist 100% Lab that we own. She is an AKC, born from champion parents..which is just a + for us since we are just looking into a house pet no a show doggie.

Roxy came to our lives a little rushed. We just lost our doggie Magenta to Cancer. We had to put her to sleep last Sunday June 26,2011. She was our doggie for almost 10 yrs. Magenta was a Lab/Rottie Mix.

She was the sweetest doggie ever. My daughter is 12 yrs old and was so depress that I started looking for doggies on Tuesday June 28. After calling a very well known breeder on our area. We drove 1 1/2 hour to meet the puppy(Roxy) She was so sweet and gentle with our son of 2 yrs old. We made the decision in less then 30 minutes! We had couple of rought night but it was normal to expect. Now we are so happy to have Roxy with us. I still feel Magenta in the house and think of her but I know that she is happy and healthy with God now and some day we will see her again.

Beautiful Girl Roxy is! So sorry for your loss of Magneta. We lost our Great Dane Fergus a year ago. I was so heartbroken, as was the entire family. We miss him still. We now have a new addition Titus, a chocolate lab who is 10 1/2 weeks old and he is bringing so much joy to us. I hope that Roxy helps heal the sadness of losing your sweet lady.

Owned by Titus...your puppy is ADORABLE!...I'm sorry for your loss too. Until we lost Magenta really understood friends or people when they loose their pets. It feels as bad as loosing a family member, because they ARE a family very important to the family!
