Hi, We have a 5 month old yellow lab. She is full blooded. My daughter and son-in-law have an 8 month old yellow lab. We are noticing that yellow labs look different from each other. Our Dixie has a long snout whereas Moses has a shorter snout and large jaws with excessive skin. I just looked online and I see that some dogs look like ours but most look like Moses. Moses' breeder said he is an English Yellow Lab and that is what our breeder said that Dixie is. Can anyone explain that to me?

hi.
there are 2 different labs-one is american or field, and is a bit taller and less stocky.(hunters usually have this one, i believe)
the english version is the one that is stocky and has some excess folds.
often there are a combo of the two types so......
