Rider finished his SHR!

Went to another UKC test on 5/31 and both boys passed with flying colors. This was leg #4 for Rider so now he has completed his SHR (Started Hunting Retriever) title. We are going to try and do some AKC tests in July and this fall. Rookie has 2 legs and we are going to try to finish him this year....but we'll see with timing of tests. Then, we will start working on doubles, complete steadiness, gun safety and hopefully we can start seasoned next year.

I was a very proud mama. Rider ran the best he's ever ran...and it was the tallest cover we've ever hunted in. Both boys peformed beautifully! I have a picture of them with their ribbons, but my web server isn't working right now, so I will have to wait.

Anyways, wanted to share.

Congrats on the passes. That Land test was a doozy, wasn't it? I was sure glad for good noses on my pups.
What are your dog's reg names? Maybe I seen you there.......I was the tall young lady with a camo skirt, had 3 dogs in started and another in seasoned. In the the holding blind a lot! lol
