First Hunt Test Coming Up

My husband (I helped do the paperwork) just entered Bailey to run in her first hunt test at the end of this month. It is close to home & Juniors have two run days that weekend - two try.
My husband is excited, but nervous. We have a few friends/trainers that we talk with on a regular basis, so we've got a good foundation & idea of what goes on, but the DH is still nervous. I'm sure I would be too - I told him that whatever happens, happens & hopefully the judges are nice & helpful. Our trainer told us to mention that it is their first run & most judges are pretty helpful. I will post a follow-up the week after & let you all know how they did.
Wish us (mostly the DH & Bailey) luck - we've got until Memorial Day weekend to keep up on our training!

Tell your husband to breath and to have fun! All of you will have a great time and make sure to tell us about it and take pictures! :yes:

Most junior judges are extremely help full regardless if this is your first test or not.
Make sure if you have any ?? ask when the judges give there speech
Take your time setting up your dog before you call for the birds There is no need to rush
I still have & hope I always will have butterflies when I step to the line
It is a great way to spend a weekend I'm sure you will meet a lot of great folks

We're in Wisconsin - I'll have to look up the name of the city it's in again.
