First Hunt Test Training

We went to our very first hunt test training today. It was a really nice bunch of very helpful people! I am very excited to get ready to try for a WC this summer. I love being out there and seeing all the dogs having such a great time.

I am glad you had fun. I can't wait to get out to do some hunt test training with some people who know the ropes. It won't be for a few weeks at least, though.

Good for you! You will have an extra freezer in your garage for training birds before you know it.

How old is your pup? Splash is a little over 4 months so he has had all his vaccinations. We didnt do anything major, I watched the junior and senior hunt dogs, we did some stations with the canvas retrieving dummies and long line work and of course all the pups had a chance to play. Mostly Im just getting him used to the working environment and the sound of the gun. Plus Splash got to reunite with two of his sibblings.
