Default Ellie Mae qualified for the Master National this weekend.

thank you East TN Retriever Club for a great test. EM has gone 6/8 in her last 8 Master tests, so she qualified under either the old or new qualification standards. Gotta start saving up vacation days for a trip to California in the fall.

Gidget? What a great name! You could name a dog something like "XYZ's California Surfer Girl" and call name "Gidget." That would be the bomb.

Master is sometimes a blast, and sometimes a double root canal. Hang in there, it takes some perseverance. We got punked out in our first three, and it sucked being the Am dog that was dropped for the same stuff Pro's carried with. After a while, you will make your own luck, and start reeling off consecutive passes. Go get 'em, Gidget!

Light, "weedy" individuals are definitely incorrect; equally objectionable are cloddy lumbering specimens. Labrador Retrievers shall be shown in working condition well-muscled and without excess fat. Females should weigh between 55 and 70lbs and Males between 65 and 80lbs. Height females 21.5 to 23.5 inches males 22.5 to 24.5 inches at the withers.
