I have a one year old pure bred Yellow Lab - although she is a "Dudley". This is because she has a brown nose and eyelids as opposed to the trademark black of other yellow labs. She is perfect in my eyes though. I also have a two year old who is part lab and part husky who is equally beautiful. They are both my world. Zeena is my yellow labrador and She-Ra is my lab/husky!

I am new to "Just Labradors" but I am very happy to have stumbled across it. My husband brought him home, a year before we were to get married.....I had made up my mind, that i was NOT going to like this dog...we didn't need one...we were getting married...didn't need the responsibility of a dog...........WELL, he had me from Hello! One look into those big brown eyes and I was in LOVE!!!

Buck is an awesome dog! Now that he's getting up in years, we are having some problems. He is the best dog in the world (ok, i know i am biased, cause he's mine!!). but he's awesome with the kids and other dogs and was a great companion to my husband when they went duck hunting (we "retired" him 2 years ago).

We just got our new puppy on Sunday. He's a yellow Lab, 2mos, 15 days old and weighs 20lbs. We were originally looking to get a chocolate lab, but saw him and fell in love. We named him Gunny short for Gunnery Sergeant Duke Cooper. Long, I know, but it has meaning for us. I have so many questions about food; what brand is good for him and all that. We were told to keep the protein down below 25% and to watch the calcium also. Our last dog was a German Shorthaired Pointer that we hunted with and I don't recall needing to watch those things. I want Gunny to do well so any suggestions on food and Lab info would be very, very appreciated. I can's seem to get his pic to upload...any thoughts on that?

I am a 29yr old professional photographer out of SW Arkansas, and I have always been a huge labrador retriever fan. Currently, my pack consists of 3 labradors and a 5 month old American Pit Bull Terrier. Let me introduce them to you.

This is my oldest girl Ali, she's a sweetheart! She's about 7 1/2 years old now, and still just as sweet as the day I brought her home at 8 weeks old. A few pics of her:

Next up is my boy Brody. He's 120 pounds of sweet sweet lapdog. Brody's half golden retriever half yellow lab. He can stand to lose a few pounds, and we're currently working on that. He has a bad shoulder that was caused early on when he hit a 20 pound growth spurt one month when he was about 6 months old. His poor bones couldn't grow as fast as he was. Here's a few pics :

Next, my "puppy" Canon. (Aptly named for a photographer, eh?) He's FINALLY filling out. Right now, he's 1 1/2 yrs old and weight about 90 pounds. His dad was 140 pounds of nothing but lean muscle chocolate lab, and mother 70 pound chocolate. He is the only dog of mine that is AKC registered,etc. He's my frisbee buddy. Some pics:

My parents keep my oldest, Ali. In Ali's old age she's starting to get a little independant, and she likes to be to herself and not be run around by these younguns, plus my parents have always been attached to her so I let them keep her but she always gets visits from her dad / the rest of her pack.

Here's some shots of my dogs together doing their thing:

(first off, those "snow looking shots" are not snow, they're feathers. I put a feather top mattress cover in their new dog house I built and it was not a great idea. Dumb me. They tore it apart and the backyard was covered in feathers. too funny though to get mad at them ; ) )
